Description

This is an acrylic and ink painting on 11×14″ canvas. It is a drippy flowy style which I often enjoy painting in, within which I painted a (self?) portrait. I like painting in this style because it allows a freedom of expression, and it accentuates the natural drippiness of acrylic paint. Anastomosis means “a connection or opening between two things that are normally diverging or branching, such as between blood vessels, leaf veins, or streams.”
